Following nearly ten years at WPP/Grey’s branded entertainment agency, Alliance, David set off on his own to launch ACME Brand Content Company with the mission of creating breakthrough marketing programs for brands in the entertainment and content space. While working with clients such as TAG, Estée Lauder, Avon, and Hastens, David and Jarrod merged forces with UEG’s acquisition of ACME in January 2009.
At United Entertainment Group, David has developed and executed successful entertainment marketing initiatives for a variety of clients, including Hasbro, Pantene, People’s Choice Awards, Varsity Spirit, COVERGIRL, The Art of Shaving, and HUGO BOSS. Notable work includes Pantene Pro-Voice (Telly, Mid-Atlantic Emmy, Ad Age Top 10 Non-Traditional Marketing Campaign), Rihanna & COVERGIRL (Billboard 2007 branding Deal of the Year) and TAG Records (Adweek’s 2008 Best Music Sponsorship).
As a strong advocate of branded entertainment, David is dedicated to elevating this discipline to the same mature standards as more traditional elements of the marketing mix.
