David Adamson // SVP, Group Director

Born in New Zealand and educated at Kings College and the University of Auckland, NZ, David Adamson moved to Washington DC in 1990 to work in the political technology arena discerning voter trends and voter patterns for state and national political campaigns. This culminated in David becoming the Western State’s Campaign Liaison for Ross Perot's ground breaking 1992 Presidential bid.

Following this, David shifted to the agency world, and International Creative Management. David established a reputation for having a keen eye for emerging talent, a discerning creative sensibility, and solid deal making acumen. This was honed at both the Beverly Hills and London offices of ICM. In January 2003 David moved from ICM to the William Morris Agency.

During his agency tenure, David became more interested in the corporate representation world, and how the corporate interaction with the entertainment environment could become more efficient and effective.  David made deals with, and created opportunities for brands ranging from BMW Motorcycles and Land Rover/ Range Rover to the Ford Motor Company; from Georgio Armani and Calvin Klein to Banana Republic. While President of Juggernaut Advertising, he consulted with and developed strategic branding and marketing initiatives for international brands including BMW, Macerich Corporation, New York City Ballet, Skullcandy, Virgin, Descente, DNA, Nestle, and entrepreneurial start ups Dylan George Denim, and Waiwera Water, among others.

Now at United Entertainment Group, David oversees our Los Angeles based brand teams and specifically manages the Quaker and Nestle portfolios. He views his role as a chance to bring fresh perspectives to his clients: worlds where 30-second spots and print ads no longer exist. From this view, he conceptualizes and executes innovative ways for brands to authentically connect with their consumers through entertainment channels and personalities.

David lives in Malibu, CA with his wife and two sons.
