Chris Ebbesen // VP, Brand Strategy + Development
At UEG, Chris lives by a simple ethos: the client's brand must be interesting and attractive to all stakeholders, including, but not limited to, its desired consumer target. It must be lead by a purpose and know why it exists beyond selling a product. Chris is primarily focused on UEG's P&G and Frito Lay portfolio, but consults on all clients at UEG.
Before joining UEG, Chris was with imc², a digital, full-service marketing agency, for five years as a director in the brand strategy group. His passion for new media and emerging technologies had him spending summers in Atlanta, consulting The Coca-Cola Company on the new marketing opportunities presented by social media, assisting Procter & Gamble’s marketing team forge stronger relationships with their fans on Facebook and helping Pizza Hut sell their millionth Pizza via their iPhone application.
Chris’ work and passion met in 2008, when Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, granted him a full access press pass to cover the team via a twitter account he created (and maintains to this day), @Mavsnews.
Chris began his career as a business analyst for Citigroup after graduating Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2003.
